Oil filler seating

Has anyone found a replacement o-ring for the filler cap or developed a good way to keep it firmly in place? I have always been a little uncomfortable with the fit of these things. I'm wondering what amounts of debris gets in when there is positive pressure.

Most auto parts stores actually have a large selection of O-Rings. Usually in a case behind the counter. I've even gotten ones for my intake manifold. Try bringing the oil cap in and see if they have what you need.
