1983 5 speed delorean excellent condition

In the middle of buying a new house so i have to sell my 1983 Delorean. I have own this gorgeous car since 2009. Bought it with 75k miles and have driven the car 3k miles since then. Car had major service by delorean of Florida in 2005. Fuel and electric upgrade, new clutch master cylinder, spark plugs, cables, new injectors, new fuel distributor, new rear facia, clean out fuel tank, adjust fuel pressure , mixture, timing and idle. New torsion bars and torsion bar plates. New alternator, low profile cooling fans and the AC was upgraded to 134 with new hoses, compressor, and dryer. Manny more parts. All parts where purchase from delorean of Houston. I have receipt. New leather seats as well as new head liners. The headliner was purchase from Delorean.com This car was a daily driver for the prior owner but it became my weekend driver car, specially for many south florida car shows. This car was featured in a youtube music video call Hot Pink Delorean Club Crasher. As well many car shows in South florida. Never drove the car in the rain and it is always garage kept. Once payment clears car can be picked up. If you need any more pictures or any question please just contact me. Things wrong with the car is a crack on the bottom of the windshield please see picture, is going need new door seal and small oil leak. This crack has been there since i bought the car. Looks like a nice car. You may want to consider posting photos of the frame as well. Photos of a rust free frame will help sell the car faster than shiny stainless.

With all the rust under the master cylinder on the closing plate it really looks bad. I can't imagine what it looks like inside on the frame. Why not spend $10 on POR 15 and smoke grey and clean it up. It is scary to me and I have seen a lot of them.:race:

Don't think the rust looks that bad. Im in the process of scrapping, sanding and repainting. Nice weekend project.

Hi-

Would you mind posting a clear photo of the crack in the windshield? Here in VA we have yearly safety inspections and cracks typically don't pass. A rule of thumb is if it does not cross the area cleared by the wipers, it's considered out of view of the driver.

Also, it looks like the hood is bowed up on the corners (photo4). Is that normal, or not?

The car looks as though it sits at a non-stock ride height? Is that correct? If so, was that done with new springs or cut-n-swap with the OEM ones?

Hey rick, i'll post picture of the windshield tomorrow. As for the hood, its been like that ever since i bought it. But in not bowed up. The front facia makes the hood seems like it bows up. Yes i replaced the front spring with lower springs. Didn't like the way it came from factory.
