If it were closer to me I'd scoop that up. I've got something that if done in time I will be unveiling at DCS 2012. I would love to take this one and power it the same.

That looks like one I saw in one of the older Delorean World Magazines. I think from 96.

The vin list has a gap at 4803, so that would be my choice.

Of course it may be underwater by now :(

EDIT:

Further:

I think we can agree that the first part is SCEDT26T2BD00480x, where the check digit is '2'

using the vin-decoder:

http://www.dmcnews.com/Techsection/vindecoder.html

and putting all digits from 0-9 in the end spot, the only one that gives a check digit of '2' is 3 - therefore vin is 4803

ta-da

Looks like it is the same we can see into an old DW magazine?

Asked about this one last month, it was a waste of time.

He will only sell it locally.

The guy doesn't seem serious in selling it and not too eager to answer questions or send pics, but at least he replied unlike others.

Damn...when I saw this thread, I was hoping it was the car in the photos below:

4714

4715

I have not seen this car in over 20 years, when I took these photos near O'Hare
Airport back in 1990. It is still MIA, unless anyone here knows its where-abouts.

Later,
Rich W.

Oeh, not bad pricing. I would guess some minor work would take it to road worthy. It'll take some hard work to get it looking nice though.

Good luck to whoever pics this one up!

What is going on with the AC vents in the center console? Have they been replaced by small speakers?

Looks it to me. They have something mounted in the driver's side knee pad, maybe a vent? or a switch panel?

This looks like the wing -

Modeled after the Countach spoiler I am sure. I would NOT rock a wing that huge unless the power was equally huge.

yeah... that wing would be the first thing to go. :dead:
