What bolts do you recommend for the clutch master cylinder, socket cap?

What kind of bolts do you guys recommend for the clutch master cylinder?

The stock ones were phillips head, which didn't grip good on an angle. I tried hex head, which doesn't work either. I am thinking socket head?

What do you guys think and if so recommend??
