MOMO Steering Wheel review? (and where to get adapter?)

What do you think about the MOMO wheel with the DMC logo on it?
1) Does the black and chrome look right in the car? (Same black tone?)
2) Does it feel right? - the size of the wheel, the feel
3) DMC is out of the adapters - surely you can get these somewhere right?

I absolutely love it! In my opinion the black and chrome really complement the car's interior.
It feels nice and sturdy, and quality is good, definitely an improvement over the stock one. The only downside (if there is one) is that the smaller diameter of the wheel partially blocks some of the gauges.
Someone may have an adapter for sale, I believe that DMCMW was the one who made them but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Check with Mike at DMCMW. The adapters we were selling were custom made locally; he may have a few left or even some take-offs of a prior (shorter) design.

I find the stock steering wheel blocks the gauges for me. A smaller one might not be so bad but be careful going smaller, you will have less leverage to turn the wheel and it gets hard especially if you are not moving. Another option could be a removable one to get in and out of the car easier.

I have one of the import knock-offs and I really like it. Much thicker so it feels nicer in your hands. The cheap imitation ones can be found in the same size as the stock wheel. Unfortunately some of the "chrome" bits are starting to wear off from where my hand sits on them. You get what you pay for... That said I paid a lot less for it than the MOMO.

I also have a fake Momo wheel from eBay. It is small and partically blocks view of volt and oil pressure gauges. No issues when car is not moving.
I bought an inexpensive fake one as a trial but it turned out to be really good. Almost as good as a genuine Momo on my Lotus Elise. Feels identical. Stitching is not as good but what do you expect from $35 wheel.
Overall, it looks and feels much better than stock. You can always reverse it, if you don't like it.
DMC emblem is must. I bought emblem and adapter from DMCMW.

I bought a knock off momo, and it only lasted a few months in my car... It was just a terrible quality wheel, worse than those in the ricer section at Autozone. After that experience, I eventually bought the genuine Momo, and there is a large difference (quality leather, correct diameter, solid feel, great look, etc.)

IMHO, stay with the original or buy a genuine Momo.

I think it really depends on the climate. The knock-offs seem to have issues with southern (TX, FL) heat if parked outside.

No, the emblem was custom made to fit the steering wheel.

I'm not in the market for an aftermarket steering wheel, but for those considering the genuine MOMO I'd be hesitant to buy from Amazon. I've purchased a few 'genuine' products there only to receive knockoffs. I hate to support copycat products, but for 10x less you may be better off buying the cheap one advertised as a knockoff and at least you know what you're getting.

Or buy direct through Momo if you're wanting to be sure you're getting the genuine article.

I always wanted to see a Momo Mod. 12 C Steering Wheel or similar in a DeLorean. It would make being able to see the gauges easier, and an added bit of leg room.

I just sat in one for the first time a few days ago. It was really a thrill, but as I am a big guy I found it difficult to get in and out of. A removable steering wheel seems like a solid investment, and I like the thought of having the added security of a lockable collar when the wheel is removed.
