Wondering if anyone has any of the original Doonesbury Comic strips that feature references to John DeLorean or the trial? I'm looking for the originals or high resolution digital copies.

http://confessor.org/projects/doonesbury.php?Character=1504 (This link shows reference to how many times it was mentioned, etc)

Thanks,
Tamir

That would be the story line where Uncle Duke (a character of Hunter S. Thompson) decides to go to Hollywood to sell the De Lorean story to make it into a feature film. He then gets involved with cocaine traffickers when he tries to raise money for the project.

GoComics has the complete, high-res archives available online.

You Give Great Meeting, Sid I believe is the book with clean reprints of the original strips. Otherwise, since you now know the dates, the alternative would be to hit up the library and start pulling microfiche tapes to print directly off of.

Or you could always contact the publisher for a clean copy as well. Good luck on fining original newsprint.
