Hey Guys,
I'd really like to find side scoops that fit. Any one of any or whose car this is? http://www.deloreancarshow.com/dcs-2004/2004-wed/IMG_3300.JPG
Thank you

That is Screaming Yellow Delorean.
The one that was damaged in a house fire recently.
Do a search on here for all the info. The owner was Ron Wester.

Tamir is actually the "owner" of this forum. I've met him at events before and he's a very nice guy. He's still around here once in awhile.

I'm fairly certain this is the same car that caught fire damage a few months ago.

Casey Putsch had these made a long time ago. They were styled after the scoops on the twin turbo DeLorean prototypes. Here's an old post on the DML: https://beta.groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/dmcnews/conversations/messages/31400

These are modified Shelby Mustang Air scoops that Ron Wester used on the Screamin' Yellow DeLorean.

Only about $5,400 each, plus you get some other parts too. Not many, but they are there.

Wow. That was was part of a Craigslist ad. 2 DMC-12's for $5K. $7,500 instant profit isn't a bad deal.
Wait a minute...
Holy shit! I recognize this car! This was listed in the DML almost 20 years ago! It was a car chopped for Baja racing down in Mexico! The seller said it had a full roll cage & off road lights, and we all wondered how the hell that was possible on a single-backbone chassis. Now that I see how it was done, I'm cringing even harder now!

Was that not the Clamato sponsored car that yellowmxwheels found and bought in 2010 .com days?
Here it was in 2001

Instant $14K profit. Not bad at all. I'm definitely in the wrong business.

I don't know. The car location was listed as being in Baja at the time, and I'm certain it also said something about having off road lights installed as well. Which this car has. The seller also stated that it was intended for off-road competition. Who knows though, perhaps there is more than a single DeLorean with a roll cage.

Surprisingly there are !!
The Clamato one and the BHCC one have different roll cages (as well as different everything else)

Nope, not the Clamato car. The Clamato car had a 4.3L V6 transplanted in it ... not the DeLorean PRV V6.
When being sold around Y2K, this car had all 4 BBS wheels on it and the PRV had been turbo charged (and spent).
IIRC, white painted DeLorean was damaged but the engine was OK, which is why the owner bought the white one.
Both of these "roll bar equipped" DeLoreans happened to be for sale about the same time originally in 2000-2001.
What ever happened to the Clamato DeLorean? The guy who bought it hasn't been on this forum (or at least hasn't posted anything) since 2015 ....
