YEAH, I bought some black Hexmat floor mats for the Delorean and I love them. I love them so much that I asked the seller if he can start making them for the cargo area and he said yes, as long as I send him a template.

Would anyone else be interested in this product?

Below is a link to the eBay listing for the floor mats. I love them and if anyone is interested I can take some pictures of them installed in my car.

Although I don't think there is much of a market for a simple trunk mat, I have often thought that a model specific trunk organizer would be a hit. Especially if it were made customazible with a track/slot system to make different sized openings in the cargo tray(much like the custom tool boxes avaliable).

I'm talking about the cargo area behind the seats.

Cute. Some folks like to be all matchy-matchy with their interiors, though.

I took some flack when I first installed my Hexomat floor mats. ("Is that for the snow that comes off your galoshes every time you walk to the car there in Southeast Louisiana? Haw haw haw.") But they catch the sand that comes off my shoes, and the water that drips off the doors after a rain, protecting the carpet perfectly and making clean-up of the interior a snap. I keep hoping for a trunk panel made of the same stuff.

I'm sure the eBay guy could make you one for the trunk. But if you plan on getting a full size spare, you'll end up tossing the thing anyway unless you cut a spot out for the tire.

if you plan on getting a full size spare...

I am still wavering on this... at the moment I find the spare tire well holds two of my toolboxes and a set of jumper cables quite nicely.
