throttle wire

Hey guys,

I have a pre 1000 VIN here where the throttle runs pretty stiff/hard,
it's an automatic where you also have to move the little alternator-wire.

But what I am wondering is - this throttle wire is much longer than the one
on my car and it is routed differently where it passes the air box close to the
passenger seat.

is this correct for this low VIN or is it unique (PO?)
