Having trouble finding fifth gear...

Just got #2530 back on the road and running it thru some test drives the past few days.. I am having trouble getting the car into 5th gear. 1-4 & reverse all work fine and feel like they are where they should be, but 5th is tough to find.. I have gotten it into 5th gear four different times now but most of the time when I shift it to where fifth should be it grabs 3rd.. Hoping this is a simple cable adjustment and not a bent pin or anything.. any ideas guys? Help appreciated

Your cross gate cable needs adjusting. Are you able to put it in reverse without lifting the shifter? If you do need to lift it for reverse, does the stick drop off the gate stop? Have you done anything previously that could have changed the linkage positions (clutch work etc.)?
