Once people in the area know you have one they will tell you where they saw another. Every so often someone will come up to me at a car show and tell me they saw one in a backyard, a gas station, a neighbor, etc. Or how their uncle had one or a brother or someone. That's how I found one abandoned in a gas station. You can also look up the DoD and the local club membership. In some States you can do an inquiry into the DMV records. Another source could also be vendors, they know who their customers are but they don't often share that kind of info. Eventually you will know all of the "D's" in your area.

I'm about 10 miles away from the closest person I know personally, but there is another car in my suburb somewhere (Maple Grove) of which I haven't met the owner. I keep hearing of sightings of it driving around, but I don't know who it is. That person is probably within 5 miles or less of me.

There's about 6 or 7 other ones in my metro area that I know of. 5 of them are in our club, one of them belongs to some guy who works near my regular shop. One day that guy parked out on the street and my mechanic's boss came in and yelled at the mechanic because he saw the other one out there and thought it was mine. What are the chances?

Huh, almost all of those are in the greater SLC metro area. Wonder where they're all hiding? Every now and then somebody will ask me if I was driving it someplace where I wasn't so I know there's a couple other ones out and about. I never saw another one in the state until I got mine. :hmm:

Only two blocks away, my neighbor! He has a black one, a beautiful car actually even though I have typically never been a fan of the painted ones. I never knew there was one so close until he followed me home one day to introduce himself. There are two others within about 5 miles. One of which I have yet to meet.

The other one who was here for five years moved to the West Coast, so now falls under the BC umbrella.

I bought an 81 last weekend that was stored for 31 years in a nice clean garage. last owner freshened it up some and i bought it and drove it home 200 miles with a/c cranking and 75 mph all the way home, cool adventure. would like to talk with some other locals. please reach out to me [email protected] look forward to chatting. There's someone a bit up the road to the north of me, no idea where exactly. And the PNW DeLorean club lives around the area. I live less than 10 miles from DMC NW, so the cars converge around here, but who knows where they live.

There's also an exotic car meet up Saturdays in down town Redmond, and I here some D's come there from time to time, but I've only been there once.

Dmclvr, I know of several DeLoreans around the Bellevue/Redmond/Issaquah area. Sometimes it seems like half the club lives around there. We usually have a few members who do the exotic car show in downtown Redmond. I've been twice this year and there's another one who pretty much does it every weekend if he's not out of town.

Lwanmtr, I'm in Auburn/Federal Way so I'm not that far from you. There are also a couple of other PNDC members who live around Tacoma.

I'm apparently a lot closer than I thought cause I just ran into one across the street. I was walking to Publix when I saw a Delorean and thought "What is my car doing parked at Publix??" I then sprinted home and got mine out of the garage and managed to catch the owner as he was about to leave. Just made my day.
