Handling by lotus emblem

Has anyone ever reproduced these?? I would think they would be fairly easy to make..i need one as one of mine is starting to look a bit shabby..

I remember years ago buying one at one of the DeLorean Car Shows (2008 perhaps?). Someone was selling them at the time. Either they had replicated them or located a big stock of them.

I completely forgot about whether or not it was still on my car though; had to check my photos to see if it was still there. I actually put it in the engine bay several years before my engine swap. I remember it seemed to have issues staying adhered to the fiberglass and I had to re-glue it multiple times. It could have fallen off and me not even noticed; still there though!

It is not domed and looks more like a sticker than a badge/emblem. I don't think I'll put it on the car, but maybe it would be good for a car show sign etc.

I also got the "design Guigiaro" labels. It is a high quality domed badge. I think I'll put it in the same place as Michael.

They look good under the vent. It's understated but noticeable and I like the color against the stainless. I blended my stainless clean in that spot then cleaned with some lacquer thinner. Let me tell you they will never come off. It is some strong adhesive.

I got the "Handling by LOTUS" labels in the two biggest sizes from BestStickers.net today. They came quite quickly from Latvia ( very cool) and they sent me an extra smaller badge.

They are a high quality badge suitable for the exterior of the car, feature a low profile dome, and the aluminum that I chose actually has a grained look. Because of this, in my opinion the aluminum on black color scheme matches the car perfectly. I'm impressed!

That's correct, they are not just a simple sticker. They are a proper plastic domed (looks 3D) automotive badge.

I like those too! I think I would go with maybe a front fender placement due to the shape but I would do either Design Guigiaro or the Lotus badges, not both.

I finally bit the bullet and cut my new DMC trunk carpet to accommodate the strut bar. Now the strut bar shows I cleaned it up and wanted some kind of DMC decal to put on it when I remembered this thread. I ordered 2 Handling by Lotus stickers from the link in this thread. I think one placed over to one end of the bar will give it a little sparkle.

53236That would be a good idea and I think it would look really good and one thing I did that was small to Jazz up my trunk was I got rid of all the black bolts that hold on everything and bought stainless steel Allen head bolts and put on there they kind of give it a little bit of a finished touch. Thanks. I might do that. But I probably won't. Something about the mindset of feeling like this isn't the responsibility of the "customer." If I ask them for how long they'll be down, and they have something specific to tell me, shouldn't that then already be posted on their website, without me intervening? Not trying to be an ass, not on purpose anyway, just irked with how often it feels like the customer's additional responsibility is to make someone else's business better. "Tell us how we did" or "what can we do better" surveys and the like. How about any one of these businesses put on their customer hat for a second and look themselves. It's usually very obvious how a business needs to improve and they'd see it for themselves if they put forth the effort to look. I don't put forth that effort as a customer into someone else's business. Sorry. For the rant too, lol. That's more about ABC company, etc. than it is specifically this stickers website :)
