I did a search, but it came up dry, so apologies if this is old news.

I just read an article about DeLorean Aerospace's DR-7 in a Flying magazine email:

Which led to this site:

It's JZD's nephew Paul. They say that the current goal is to have it flying by next near. That seems insanely optimistic for anything having to do with the FAA (even today's FAA, which has come a decent way), but also sort-of familiar with the early goals of another company with the DeLorean name... Best of luck to him!

I think civilian VTOL aircraft the size of your average Honda are many many many years away. Paul Moller has been at this for several decades and is barely at the flying prototype stage.

This is what I see as riding the coat tails of the DeLorean name and all the jalopnik type "journalists" will run with it flooding the internets and having every half wit gullible idiot repeating it to me for the next 2 years(and we just now are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with all the "Hey did you know they are building them new in Texas?). Now the circle is complete.
