Angle Drive Bolt Retaining Clip?

I ordered the Angle Drive Speedo Cable Kit from DMCH and noticed I didn't have the gigantic bolt when I took my destroyed angle drive off my car. After an afternoon of beating that thing, I saw the tiny snap-ring inside and removed it.

DMCH doesn't sell the snapring? I can find the bolt. I can find the angle drive. I can find the angle drive kit. I cannot find the snap ring.

Anyone know if I can do go to napa and pick one up?

You should just call one of the DMC shops and ask them to send you one. It's probbbly not a part that's in the parts manual.

I don't remember ordering one individually, so I think when I got one it came attached to the replacement angle drive. Not sure. Call your DMC franchise of choice and ask.

I might try to head to my local hardware store to find a snap ring. That way I don't have to destroy the metal ring each time and it'll probably be slightly less than $4 :)
