DPI Spec 1 exhaust

Now that I am no longer going to be running a PRV engine, I am selling my DPI Spec 1 exhaust. Mileage on it is < 5,000.

The exhaust is missing the lower passenger side bracket, but that never gave me any issues. It comes with the reusable copper gaskets that go between the cats and the headers. You'll need to get bolts for the cat to header union (the ones I took off were rusty as heck), and exhaust manifold gaskets.

The price is $1,200. Considering these go for just about $2,000 new, I think that my price is quite reasonable.

If it was broken down into pieces would it be small enough to ship UPS/Fedex or is it going to have to get shipped freight?

Freight wouldn't be necessary at all. It's fairly big, but doesn't weigh all THAT much. I'll see if I can find a box big enough to fit everything into. I can package it up and weigh it over the weekend, which will make it much easier to get a decent shipping estimate. If you PM me your zipcode, I can let you know.

Yeah dude, you should be all over this! I'm drooling over here but realistically my chances aren't looking the best.

Hypothetically speaking though, I think it would probably have to be shipped in a couple of boxes, I think the weight limit per box is like 65lbs. My Zip in WI is 54481

Wow, very happy to see so many folks interested! I'll get the system packaged up this weekend and get shipping quotes out to everyone that has requested it, but if several people still want it after getting shipping costs, I am not sure how to decide who to sell it to. We'll figure something out :)

Just a tip: if shipping turns out to be high, I suggest checking out the rates by greyhound bus for bulky items like this. I had a set of 4 NCT tires shipped that way earlier this year and it was very reasonable. The caveat is whether a station is around both the shipper and the receiver.

Okay, so this thing would have to be packed into separate and large boxes.

East coast shipments are looking to be around $60-$100, depending on where on the coast.
Mid-west ships are looking to be around $80
West coast is quite pricey; around $150-$180

I've had a few people express interest in the exhaust, so let's see who is still interested after these shipping quotes :)

Will Washington State let you do th Cat delete kit ? I just installed that on mine and I love it.

As far a emissions go (Alex). Washington state does not test cars beyond 30 years old. Tempted to get the cat delete pipes but waiting for your take (test drive) on the ones you installed. My car has a single cat delete pipe. It seems to help but I don't like the gas smell. My car is probably running rich. What I am looking, or rather hearing, forward to is a better exhaust note. Not impressed with the stock sound.

Yes, he is. The lower passenger side bracket. Mine was damaged during the initial install ~6 years ago.

I would recommend getting the deletes make it sound even more aggressive a little bit louder with more rumble. the Smell does change bit because you don't have the cats doing their thing to gases I noticed a tad more pep too.
