Are these two lines practically interchangeable? Because I'm not sure exactly which I need to get.

Also, the color of the fluid inside my A/T cooler pipe (the brass one) came out black, while the fluid from the dipstick comes out red/pink?

They are not interchangeable but should both be replaced anyway. We also have those in stock but also offer just the hoses and clamps as a kit with out the piping for about thirty dollars. Less expensive and less work. You don't usually need to change the pipe /fittings.

Oh cool! Yeah, I need to replace the piping as a whole unit. One of the ends that screw on rusted up and won't swivel.

If you cut off the clamp and hose you can leave the fittings on the car and replace just the hoses. Just giving you options.

The pipe broke during the removal process. :( So I need the whole thing.

108493 is the rear hose.
101793 is the front hose.

I'm about to do the same job as my front hose is leaking a little and the hose clamps aren't stopping it. I already have those hoses, but might reconsider with Rob's solution and just cut out the rubber portion and leave the fittings where they are. I don't have a lift to use at home and don't particularly enjoy being under the car working on loosening rusty fittings with so little access for tools and fingers.

The front hose is shown on this parts diagram: http://store.delorean.com/c-388-4-5-2-autocasepumpsseals.aspx

Rear on this one: http://store.delorean.com/c-387-4-5-1-torque-convertercasing.aspx

One beef with the DeLoGO parts website is they don't have the parts diagrams cross-referenced.

Thanks! It is the rear unit that I need, and I just ordered.

I still don't understand why the oil/fluid that came out was black though. :8ball:

Probably clutch material collecting at low point/restriction....
