We are one month away and so far there are about 20 people attending!

-Everyone is responsible for there own lodging if staying the weekend.

-If you would like to just go for one day that is fine as well.

Below is a link to all of the activities they have in the area in addition to driving through and visiting the sights:
http://www.hockinghills.com/activities.html
These include: Canoeing/Kayaking, Horseback Riding, Zip-line through the trees, Riding the Hocking Hills Train, Adventure (mini) Golf, etc.
-If you would like to do any of these activities with other DCO'ers, let me know and I will match you up.

Hello DCO'ers!

The Hocking Hills Driving Tour is two weeks away!

I attempted to make an elaborate map but that proved to be too difficult for
Google. Instead below is a link to a Hocking Hills map to take a look at.

http://www.dnr.state.oh.us/Portals/2/parkmaps/hockinghillsparkmap.pdf

-Again, Friday is for those camping or wanting to spend the weekend in the
area; there are no DCO scheduled activities for this day, so be creative and
adventurous!
-Saturday, October 15th, we will begin the tour at the intersection of 33
and 374 in Rockbridge, OH meeting in the parking lot of the below address:

"Route 33 Diner"
26784 US Highway 33
Rockbridge, OH 43149-9604

-We will leave here around 9 a.m., crossing 33 and starting down state
route 374. From there we will stop at the following points of interest along
the way:
(There will be walking involved on both pavement, gravel, and sometimes dirt
trails to reach the points of interest, dress appropriately)

1. Cantwell Cliffs
2. Rock House
3. Conkles Hollow
4. Old Man's Cave
5. Cedar Falls
6. Ash Cave

-Around 12pm-1pm we will stop for lunch. You can bring your own food or
there is a "dining lodge" at Old Man's Cave. Since we will be in a remote
area, there are not many food options. However, we may drive back up to the
Logan area if everyone prefers more variety/fast-food.

-After the lunch we will continue the tour of the points of interest and
then take 664 back up to Logan to end the tour at 33 and 664. There is a
Walmart Supercenter across 33 as a landmark.

-Depending on what time we finish those that are interested may have dinner
together at the Olde Dutch Restaurant and Banquet Haus (Website:
www.oldedutch.com) which is at the same intersection/area.

-After dinner, everyone is free to go home or back to your hotel/campground
and rest.

-Sunday morning (if there is interest) we will meet at the Bob Evans(33 and
664) for breakfast at 9 a.m. and then conclude the DCO Hocking Hills Weekend
and head home.

Let me know if you have any questions, ideas, etc.

Otherwise, see you all there!
