I have been trying to find a good video/audio of DPI's Spec 1 exhaust. There are a few videos on you tube but the sound quality isn't there. I have heard great things about this exhaust but I would really like to hear it in person. Is there anyone in North Carolina that has one installed that would let me hear it? Also how much louder is it inside the car while driving vs. stock? Thanks!

If you go this route make sure to get your exhaust and headers ceramic coated!!
You will not regret it!!

If the exhaust is all stainless what would be the point in having it ceramic coated?

The stainless will turn brown over time, and it is visible from the rear so some folks will coat them for looks...it’s supposed to also reduce temps in the engine compartment, not sure if it really does though.
Here’s a clip of my Stage 2 with a DPI exhaust...

Here are 2 pics of aftermarket Delorean exhausts.
Ceramic Coated vs Non Ceramic coated.
Ceramic coating keeps the heat down and helps the exhaust last longer.
The 2.8 V6 puts out a good bit of heat and over time it can make any exhaust rusty.

That second pic looks like a stage 1 exhaust, which also came in steel.
I actually have the bare spec 1 exhaust on my car, and only the headers darkened a bit. And even with those darkened, they still look absolutely great.

Yes, that pic is of a first gen Stage 1 from DMCH that rusted like that (wasn't made of SS). I have a DPI Spec 1 for about 8 years now that's not coated. Obviously doesn't look as nice, but there's no rust. Just a champagne color to it.

Yes, there is an owner near me with it, may be able to arrange a meeting for you to see it in person. I had two of the SPEC 1 systems and drove both many thousands of miles. My personal favorite by far, you won’t go wrong purchasing and installing it.

That would be wonderful I’m only about an hour away. I would love to hear it In person if they are willing.
