Looks like it sold for $53.9k? Certainly doesn't look like a $53k DeLorean to me from the limited pics. What did it look like in person?

That steering wheel doesn't look like 8000 original miles.

It was a nice car. Frame looked good. Stainless in good shape except for a few scratches from someone not knowing how to use a 3M pad and 2 small dings. The front and rear facia were good. The interior was clean. IMO it wasn’t an 8,000 mile car. It was a clean low mileage car but I have seen other cars in cleaner more original condition.

Nice one. I stand corrected then. Sounds like a lovely car. Congrats to the seller.

 Amen. Really though D values have more or less kept pace with inflation and the value of other enthusiast cars IMHO (at least in North America)

Ha, nice one. I feel really good about what I paid for mine compared to that one. You are right though. My friends, family, co-workers, etc. are surprised they go for what they've been selling for lately as well. The rising values are really great for people here who've had their cars a while. Be happy!

About 26K in today's dollars, so I'd say you are doing well!

WOW... That sure doesn't seem like a $53K car. Maybe a 30 based on the mileage.
I guess mine's worth a lot more than I thought.

Cheers

So when they say its an 8000 mile car...I'm suspecting that's when the angle drive failed :giggle:

It definitely spent time sitting outside given the sun fade on only one side of the steering wheel. The more I think about it and see what others have sold for and are listing for, the seller did about well as she/he could have dreamed here.
