Now after 37 years she is stainless again thanks to soda blasting.

Looks more like Dry Ice blasting to me. Especially with the end finish and the taping prep that was done. Dry Ice blasting does not damage the surface under the paint.

Yeah, not taping off the glass, gotta be co2 blasting, looks way easier than manual labor!
