First Shipment Questions

I'm trying to figure out if my car was part of the first shipment. I've been reading in "Stainless Steal Illusion" and on pg. 83 under the top photo is says "First production cars to reach U.S. were air freighted in, arriving in New York in June". I've recently purchased all the available documents on my car from the DeLorean museum and I believe one of them mentions point of entry as Long Beach, but my cars production date was May of '81, and she was purchased in June by the first owner (I'm the second). So, I'm just trying to put the chronology strait. If my D was stamped May of '81, and bought June '81 she must have been a pre ordered car right? and if that be the case, she would have been in the first shipment to New York not Long Beach right? Thats it, Just thought I'd bounce my idea around the forum. Thanks.

The first shipment was made on Easter Sunday of 1981. A handful stayed in Ireland, a few went to QAC and some weren't even completed yet. There's a manifest floating around somewhere on the net and you can find out for sure if your car made it here on the first shipment. My car is 901 and I still wonder whether or not it was part of the first shipment, but I doubt it...
