Is the gauge of the rod larger then the original?

Yes it is, but we kept in mind the need to feed the cable through the loop so the squeeze, just past the loop, is the same distance as original.

This was perfect for my car as my loop was broken off my original bracket. My speedo cable line was full of water, and putting a lot of stress on my angle drive. Perfect fit, and much higher quality than the original! Problem solved! Highly recommended!

Sure I’ll post a pic. It bolts on where the two bolts holding the caliper are.
