Ground clearance middle of the car needed

Hello all,

Can someone tell me please what the ground clearance is of the Delorean in the middle between front and rear tire?
I do not have the stock hight up front but lowered average.
I unfortunately sold my Delorean recently and want to park another car in that garage. The Delorean dit not scrape its belly when driving into the underground garage (but it was very close)
I want to park a Mercedes SLK in that garage and I think it is lower to the ground than a Delorean but I am not sure. Help would be greatly appreciated.

For ours: 12cm +/-0.5cm to lowest point near the center of wheelbase.

The low spot for your high-centering concern looks like it would be the fuel tank closing plate bolts at rear of closing plate. I measured to those.

For reference the suspension on ours has 5.5in/14cm ground clearance at both front and rear crossmembers with car empty and fuel tank full. Not sure that is the same as your old DeLorean's setup.

It is not only the centerpoint clearance that's a factor.

You will want to consider that the SLK may have a different wheelbase vs the DeLorean (2408mm). A longer wheelbase means you need more clearance to avoid high-centering when comparing two cars. I will guess both cars have similar wheelbases.

The wheelbasis are less than an inch apart, you are right.
I looked at technical drawings of both cars but I could not believe a stock SLK is lower to the ground than a Delorean.
