Hockey fantasy pool on Yahoo... no money involved, just bragging rights

[Jonathan]

Do any of you guys play in fantasy pools? I've had a group of guys for about 6-7 years playing through Yahoo's fantasy site. No money involved, just bragging rights. We generally play hockey, baseball, and football. We are getting the hockey one set-up and hoped for a couple more teams. We do it rotisserie style where you ice a team each day of the week and throughout the year you would say have 4 x 82 defensemen spots, 2 x 82 x C, LW, RW, G, etc. Usually about 10 categories, 5 for offense and 5 for goalies.

Let me know if you're up for joining (and sticking with it the whole year!) and I'll send you the log-in.

I had been an avid fantasy baseball and football participant but found FB took way to much time to stay on top of so now I'm strictly FF. It sounds like FH would be similar to FB in that you really have to stay up to date one your guys daily. Keep me in mind though when you need more FB teams.

Yea, it definitely takes time to stay on top of it. You're right... hockey is pretty close to baseball in that there are games every day. Football you really only have to get your team set once per week. I'll shoot ya the invite in March next year for baseball '12. After watching the D-Backs highlights from last night, they might end up being the World Series champs a month from now.
