1980'S Retro Classics Weekend with the Tennessee Deloreans

[bfloyd]

I own a drive-in movie theatre about 35 miles east of Nashville. Each year during the month of August we host a "1980's Retro Classics Weekend" - playing some of our favorite movies from the 1980's. This year's selections included "Back to the Future" paired up with Raiders of the Lost Ark on screen 1, and The NeverEnding Story with David Bowie's Labyrinth over on screen 2. Several of our fellow Tennessee Delorean owners got together this past Saturday night to watch the movies in their Deloreans.

We had 4 owners bring their cars to display for everyone to enjoy. We almost had a 5th, but he had mechanical issues on the way and didn't make it.

Here's some pictures from Saturday night.

It was a good time Barry thank you for hosting us

Anybody complain about the doors blocking
the screen?

If they did, they didn't tell me. I was stuck in the kitchen all night long. We came really close to having a sellout crowd on the BTTF side, so the lines for concessions pretty much didn't stop all night long.

This is great! I love drive-in theaters and didn't think there were any left in the US. If I ever visit Nashville I'll be sure check it out.
