My key broke off in the ignition tumbler... Carefully took it apart and got the broken piece out... All the 'tabs' are in the correct place when reassembled... Now, when reassembled completely, the key won't either go in or when I do get it in, it won't turn at all... Tried all sorts of things but is toast... Is there a Cross-Over replacement for the assembley? DMC's website shows NLA... Going to try a locksmith first, but am leaning toward a new unit as it was obvious the unit was tampered with by PO. Always been a little tempermental since I got the car... I have redone pretty much everything on the car and is a daily driver for me...
Thanks for any input...

I would call DMCH/DMC satellites/PJ Grady/DeLorean Industries and see if they have any ready made solutions for you. I'm betting one of them has a tumbler just not listed online.

You can also try Jesser keys. They specialize in all old classic car locks. If they can't fix your old one they can probably replace it. If the ignition lock is in bad shape the doors probably need some work too. Especially if you have the older 2 key system.
