Yahoo! Groups shutting down

[todd1561]

I haven’t been active in the community for years so maybe this has been mentioned. But I came across this today, seems Yahoo! Is finally pulling the plug on Yahoo! Groups and deleting old content. Does anyone know if the old DML will be archived off? I know it hasn’t been used in quite some time but I’m sure there’s some old, useful content on there. Not sure if this is the best place to post but I figure the current operators of the DML are on here somewhere. If memory serves, there were some people running mirrors of the group when it was active (Ryan Wright?) but I don’t know if those are still around.

The DMC News site kept an archive from the beginning, but it looks like they stopped in 2006 https://www.dmcnews.com/backissues.html

Dave Stragand had also been keeping an archive on Project Vixen, but this one looks more up to date: http://www.projectvixen.com/dmcnews%2Darchive/

What fun it was to use Yahoo groups in the early aughts to meet wholesome, church goin' womens.

Awesome. Proof that Yahoo Groups is no longer needed.

The best thing about that group was Sunny V.

I love my remanufactured DeLorean. To go anywhere but DMCH for a car is just assinine.
