I would never have thought this would be a good idea, but oddly it works and I actually like it.
A bit much, but why half @ss it.

Looks more like the Bosozoku style than a widebody. I have no idea how the front tires turn without ripping off the flares, but any publicity is good I guess.

It lifts up for driving.

Well now that will not look dumb at all.

Ezra had this on his instagram. I think it looks hideous because the mods are so poorly and obviously done. Just looks like aluminum pieces bolted to the car.

I don't usually subscribe to the "all parts must be replaced with stainless," idea; however the fact that all these body add-on's are aluminum and not stainless really irks me (at least the front and rear). It seems to cheapen the effort to me. You question whether it's aluminum just looking at it, but what sold it for me was the welding around the holes in the front bumper. Pretty clearly aluminum welds. Plus, forming stainless like this takes a lot more skill and effort than aluminum does.

Im all about tasteful mods, thi sis just terrible. Every man to his own, and its your car do what you want. If you wanted to go for a bozoku style .....sure. But the real question is....is why to a delorean? Ooof it was not executed well.

Its shite.

Well... it's different but I almost hate it. It does not fit the aesthetics of the DeLorean and they chopped up a perfectly good DeLorean for their own personal gain though it is their car.

Since there is now one less DeLorean on the road, our cars just went up in value a little haha

The license plate helps nothing. Looks like someone knocked it up in a word processor, and cut it out of paper. The surround on the rear covers the letter. Amateur hour!

Why the need to vent the luggage compartment (trunk) with the "fish gills"? Do you think there is access to the back side of the radiator that vents out here - or just for show?

I believe it is a front engine, RWD combination

You can see items under the car that suggest it has a stock drivetrain.

exactly. There is a car going through a FR transformation right now in France (I think?), but it is not this one.

It was posted on one of the Facebook Groups a couple of months ago. For some reason, a Boxer motor comes to mind for their future plans with it

I highly doubt this car has modified anything engine bay let alone a FWD. They wouldn't fit anything up there. The vents are purely for show aka, pointless styling which i cant stand on any car. Like alot of modern cars that put vent scoops that do nothing

Unless you hang the engine entirely past the rear cradle, a flat4/6 will not fit in the delorean frame whatsoever. It is about a foot too wide to sit between the uprights of the rear cradle.

Sounded like a D right down to the Idle surge! Exhaust only is my guess!

I always find it amusing that someone goes to this much trouble, and doesn't straighten out the front fascia above the headlights (eyebrows).

In that case, the Eaglemoss model should make you hysterical.

One (and perhaps only) thing positive about it it’s the interior colour which I find really appealing. That cinnamon colour remind me of the prototype colour (which was more akin to orange however)

ok some designers laughing their ass off somewhere, as they just google image searched and went with the first photo they found. Probably thought they came from the factory like that LOOOL

I think Michael is spot-on as it's a Japanese owner and car.

I don't think there are any mechanical modifications beyond enormous wheel spacers which conveniently change from 4 lug to 5 lug.

Ah Ok, I probably look like a jackass to the community now. Apparently this is a different car than one that I had in mind. Here is the link to another project doing a Front Engine, RWD conversion with a tubular roll cage throughout the car.

I wouldn't say you look like a jackass though.
Im interested to see how that car turns out. Seems to have some serious skill and motivation behind it.
