Distributor connection question

I am putting back the wiring harness on my project car and I have a quick question. Does the distributor wire plug into the wire that goes through the bulkhead by the resistor ballasts? Thank you for answers in advance

Yes, the only place it should "fit". It should be a blue shielded wire (iirc) and connects to the Ignition Control Unit in the compartment behind the driver's seat.
