I removed the intake manifold so I can modify the carb setup, as well as clean the valley and replace the coolant/heater hoses. I'm wanting to clean up the intake manifold and valve covers and paint them so they look good, but when I do that, the parts of the heads that are visible will look crappy in comparison.
