Water leaking

Water leaking on floor board only wet up by gas pedals and on opposite side same area basically toward front after a rain
Any suggestions it’s really damp up there doubt it could it be moisture but don’t see any pulled water but then again there’s a lot of padding under the carpet.

I would check the body drain, and also under your battery and in the storage cubby.

One easy way to track leaks down is to pull back the carpet, and wait for another rain storm ( or use a hose! ). You'll be able to see where the drips are coming from.

The screws holding the plastic cowl screen below the windshield (#105047) to the car may not be sealed anymore allowing water to leak in. Easy enough to seal them and see if the leaking continues. Same with the wiper arm posts and those two "hood bump stop" studs on either side of the trunk that are there to keep the trunk lid from cutting through the windshield in a collision.

You might also check the bulletins manual (downloadable in the resource section if you don't have it) to see other points of water entry that you can seal.

My next suggestion was going to be to check out the cowl at the bottom of your windshield, but dn010 got there before me! :). The hose test will determine if it is getting in from outside. You don’t even need a hose - a jug of water will do. If you can, roll back the carpet in the floor wells first, and pour water outside on the bottom of the windshield. If it is getting in, you will see it almost right away. Then, remove the cowl and the wipers, and caulk the screw holes and hood bump stops. It’s a good excuse for cleaning the dusty-looking appearance in that area anyway.
By the way, if you don’t see any water getting in, pour water up higher on the windshield at the sides. If there is still no water showing up inside, pour water right at the top and around the door seals. It is possible that it is getting in there. If you are getting no water inside after all that, it is possible that your heater core is leaking. But lets deal with one thing at a time, and rule out a leak from outside first.
