I went for a trip the other day, and lost the ability to shift the car out of Park. The shifter just moved freely, but it wouldn't shift. Got it towed home, got under the car, and found that the bracket that holds the linkage to the frame had gone missing, so moving the shifter was just flexing the cable.

While the metal bracket is in stock (already ordered), the block that goes under it, part 101923, aka "support bracket", is not. I used my 3D printer to make some LEGO-like stackable blocks so I could try out a few different sizes, but then I found the original block lying in the frame cavity. It's shorter than I remember, so I'm wondering if anyone has one handy and can tell me if this is really what it looks like and how big it is, or if there's a second piece or that makes it taller than this. Here's a picture of the one I have:

Here are the LEGO-like ones I printed, plus the original on the right:

I also have an early VIN where they forgot to weld the nuts to the frame, making it extremely difficult to secure that bracket again. I fixed this in the past with a piece of aluminum drilled and tapped to replace the nuts, but I think the threads failed and that caused the bolts to fall out. I 3D printed a replacement and inserted two nuts into it so that this hopefully won't happen again.

Thanks!
