Does anyone know of a company doing acid dipping in the SE? Closer to metro Atlanta is preferable. I've been calling around and so far havent found anyone. Eco-clean told me they no longer do it.

My parent were getting my dads mustang restored and they had to get body and frame dipped up in Indiana. Think they paid 1k-1500 back in late 90’s,

I think I've found a place in Oregon and one in Ohio. Neither really close. Eco clean in GA no longer does chemical dipping

I found them yesterday and sent them an email. At this point I don't think I'll find anything in GA. The place in oregon called me. He said that he can dip it to remove the rust but not the epoxy. He recommended I have it baked off first. Sent me a contact to someone in Mississippi that used to do it years ago. Also found a place in Acworth, Ga that does "fluidized sanded thermal cleaning". Maybe they can help out.

If you're in the NW US, metal works in oregon should be able to help you get it dipped if the epoxy is gone.

I did a bake/flame off then a light sand blasting to clean it up afterwards.

Dave, have you used or know anything that's gone with redistrip? They said a frame cost around $300-800 to strip.

Unpaint services in Lagrange, GA can do it. Bonus, they're 3 mins from work. Just picked up my trailing arms from them today.
