This is exactly why many Lotus owners hate Delorean owners, they blame Delorean for killing CC. After the lawyers kill everyone the accountants come in and bayonet the wounded. CC was always sloppy with his finances and was always looking for ways around the rules. In life, designing cars, racing, everything. If things turned out differently and Delorean was successful, that $18M would never have come up. It was never the cause of the problems in the first place but during a forensic examination it was a great thing to publicize to make a big deal and paint the principles as crooks.

I am a Steward of both Lotus and Delorean. Both machines have personalities and lives of there own. My mood determines what machine to motor in.
