Unknown Part Connected to Idle Speed Micro Switch

Hello All. I have a question. I stumbled upon a small electronic device that has been wired into the green/black wire connected to the idle speed micro switch. I have not seen this before and was curious what it might be. Any ideas? I don’t see any legible markings on it...

Looks like a coil suppressor (filtering capacitor).

It’s a capacitor that cleans up some switching noise.

Part of the radio noise suppression kit. On some cars there was a sticker on the driver's door jamb. Should be others too on other switches.
