Ok I took the body off the frame of my car to do other work and figured why not replace the radiator. Problem is that it was a bitch to put back in and now the drivers side fan is hitting the frame when the fans kick on.

I replaced the rubber mounts and the brackets when I did the radiator. The place on the frame where the brackets go are studs. It was difficult but I got the brackets over the studs with the radiator attached to them. I've turned the fan shroud both ways to see if it went backwards or what but my pictures show that I now have it in the right way. The fan shroud on the pass side has a fair amount of distance from the frame where on the drivers side its smashed against the frame.
Anyone have this problem? Maybe try slotting the shroud?

It should fit. Chances are the bottom mounts are bent. This happens when you hit parking stops with them. You should not have to modify or notch things.

Take a close look at these:
