Carpets pics?

[joshg]

Anyone have good pics of the original, early "Dark Gray" carpet sets in the car? Am considering changing my '83 gray carpets that are in terrible shape to the older "dark gray" set that DeLorean Go sells. The early dark gray has the slightest tint towards "brown" i believe. It looks nice, but am hoping to really see what that looks like installed, preferably with black seats.

I recently purchased a dark gray carpet set from DMCH. I haven’t installed teem yet so I don’t have any photos to offer. The carpet looks good and some pieces are molded to fit and some have padding on the back. The price is $795.00. If you go on their website they list two colors , gray which is the light gray, the other color is the dark gray but it says black. The intent was to say if your car has gray interior order the gray carpet and if your car has black interior order the black (it’s dark gray carpet).

I also recently purchased a carpet set from SpecialTauto. That carpet looks good as well but none of the pieces have padding. Their price is $649.95. I ordered the dark gray so I could compare them but I think they may have sent their light gray carpet. I’ve decided to keep both and install the dark gray carpet from DMCH in a 1981 with black interior and install the carpet from SpecialTauto in a 1982 with gray interior.
I’ll try to send a photo of two pieces

Many years ago I added the grey carpet for black interiour. I think it fits the grey interiour perfectly.
