I was fortunate to test drive one...very cool, but not one I would own due to cost...

-Very fast throttle response...just one long gear and instant torque, puts you back in the seat
-Only costs $5 a charge which lasts about 250 miles; not bad
-Completely silent when you first take off; has a cool whine when you get on it.
-Uses regenerative braking so when you let off on the gas, the car slows down as though you have applied light braking....
-Basically an electric Lotus Elise....
