I was starting to FINALLY de rust 1632's frame today. Photos of that particular mess are in another thread I'll post soon. But while I was inspecting the areas, I came across this leak. It wasn't dripping rapidly, just sort of pooling at the site.
What is this? And how do I fix it?

The picture is too small for me to see anything, but based on what you are shooting, If it's not trans. fluid, I would guess one of your side shaft seals is leaking. If you haven't already done so, be sure to top off your gear oil level....or change it if you don't know when the last time it's been done.
The picture is to small. Some things it could be:
Transmission fluid, red/pink in color
Gear oil from lip seals, brownish/amber color
Engine oil from rear main seal, dark brown/blackish
Engine coolant, typically green/yellow in color.
Can you follow the leak up to the source?

Chances are it's a transmission leak where the axles go into the transmission. All you need is some new seals and stainless speedy sleeves to put over your flanges so it won't leak again.
I did this work on my car and Farrars a few months later. There is a writeup somewhere on how to do this. It is a messy job but only takes 2-4 hours with no special tools.

I'll keep looking and see if I can find a better writeup. Dave at DMCMW can sell you a kit with stainless sleeves or you can call Grady for a set of new stainless flanges.
