That does not look like a legit 1980's sign, it looks like it was made (there are plans on how to make this sign of this size).

That's a reproduction made to be much smaller than the originals. Still a cool piece, but not an authentic 80's sign if that's what you're looking for. The originals were like 12 feet long if I'm remembering correctly. More info on the board here if you search around.

Ya I agree it doesn't look 80s at all. The electric part is definitely not 80s and I don't think they made any signs that size.

DMC Midwest sold them for a few years around 2012.

Also good lord, the price from DMCMW was $925+$60 shipping. A now price of $4,700+$500 shipping seems a bit extreme to me, but I guess supply and demand. I remember when full size legitimate dealership signs were popping up for less than that.
