This is an all day activity. We will start at 8am Sky Kitchen in San Carlos Ca and meet for breakfast. From there we will then meetup at Hiller Aviation museum for those that dont want bfast from 930am. From there we will drive 92 to Skyline to hwy 9, with a stop at Alices Cafe in woodside. From hwy 9 down into los gatos and a cruise down the main street. From there to hwy 17 and over to Camden road and up to the summit of mt Umunhum. if you have not been there before....
Mt Umunhum - one of the highest peaks in the coastal range overlooking San Jose and Silicon Valley.
It used to be an early-warning radar site (the 5 story building on the peak)which was closed in 1980, so the land is now officially part of the Sierra Azul open space preserve. The area has a great southbay view and some exhibits about the structure, plus a few short trails that you can enjoy. Parking may be tight, so please be patient
