All, I have been working on the right hand side head, in that I have removed it again believing it to be cracked, once I removed it (completely) and removed the exhaust manifold it appears that the leak might be coming from the I believe freeze out plug. In the meantime my friend had a motor , but not for a delorean. He removed the head and when I compared the camshaft it didnt match and then I measured the combustion chamber of the head and they arent the same. So I am fairly certain I cant use this head. The camshaft is damaged as well as the location in the head where the camshaft rides. Can the head be repaired? If the head in fact isnt cracked and the leak is from the freeze out plug, where else would I look for an avenue for antifreeze getting in the oil? I will try to log in from my phone to attach a picture.

Thanks in advance, Frank.

Photos would obviously be great, but I feel like there's backstory missing from this description. What is the original problem you were chasing - coolant in the oil? What's the full story on this engine?

Bring the head to a machine shop, they will be able to diagnose it using dyes to see if there is a crack in the head and if it can be repaired or not.
