Sorry the picture is horrible.I forgot to take pic when reinstalled. I noticed that the connecting rod (circled in orange) for the door handle makes contact with the black housing that bolts on and holds the door handle. it was minor but touching. the connector looks as if it had been bent. I replaced a window motor and put everything back together and the door wouldnt latch. I messed around with it a bit and finally got it to close and latch. the first two times i tried to close it would not latch at all. That rod drags slightly on the black metal frame it sits in.I didnt measure but thought maybe that connecting rod could be reversed on that bracket and it would give it more room? does that make sense? Is that connector supposed to be slightly bent? should i just try bending it more till it doesnt drag or will that make it worse for the latches? I put everything back the way it came off but question if it was right to begin with. I know its been apart before based obvious diy failures inside.
