Searching for a thread about 3D-printed spare (plug) in the trunk to close the holes

Hi!
I am searching for an older thread about someone, who 3D-printed red plugs to close the holes in the trunk (on the picture I marked the holes I mean).
I think the one who made these wrote that if someone is interested in these spares he would print them for about 40$ (?).

You can also use a couple of these if you're so inclined. They are meant to cover the seat belt bolts on the outside of the car, but fit those spots in the frunk just the same.

Seems like it would be a fun project to print some of those parts, but tough to beat that price of $4 each for the factory parts that would work.

Or you could do what I did, and install one of these instead. No caps required!

I also used these to cover the upper opening behind the door. Not factory, but fit just fine. I'm sure I'm not the only one to do this.

It's hard to say exactly.

I went from a completely stock front suspension with bald tires to a fully rebuilt suspension with Eibach lowering springs, SPAX shocks, poly bushings, LCA braces, rebuilt steering rack, new tires, and the front strut brace.

The total sum of all those changes was a night and day difference in handling and steering feel. It's like a totally different car. Much more planted and responsive, immediate turn in, less body roll, etc.

But the percentage of that difference due to the strut tower brace alone is hard to quantify. I've never removed it since my rebuild and driven the car without it to compare. Would be an interesting experiment to do next spring when I get the car back out.

DMCNW also makes a brace that is flat and doesn't stick up through the carpet. I'd be interested to try that one as well.
