Hood corner height at fascia

Searched and could not find any info about this. The front corners of the hood on my car stick up above the fenders/fascia. I have seen other cars with and without this and wondering if anything can be done about it. The edges at the windshield sit almost perfectly flat with fenders.

sometimes there are shims under the bumper mounting plate in that area... or you can loosen and see if you can adjust the hood hinges down slightly...
