Hi guys, I'm just wondering how the door locks on the Delorean function properly. When you unlock the driver door should the passanger door always unlock in unison as well? I think I'm having an intermittent problem with the passanger door. Only the driver door unlocks and the passanger door stays locked sometimes when I use the key. When I sit in the car with both doors closed and press the door lock button back and forth I can clearly hear both door locks operating fine. Only when I operate the driver door with a key does the passanger door sometimes not unlock. Thanks chaps.

The Delorean has what they called a "Central Locking System". When either door is locked or unlocked from the inside or the outside, the other door is supposed to lock or unlock. To function properly there are a LOT of adjustments internal to both doors. There are a LOT of posts on how to adjust everything. A good place to start is to read the procedure in one of the Service Bulletins and the Workshop Manual. For the system to even work all 4 door latches must be in the 2nd locking position (unless someone forced it and now you must do all of the adjustments because some of the rods have been bent).
