Window motor service?

Not wanting to derail this thread, but has anybody been able to service their window motors? I tried once but they seem non serviceable.

They are basically disposable from what I can tell. I don't know of anyone who's successfully rebuilt one. I think most people don't bother since new ones are fairly easy to get.

I made a little typo. i was not talking about the window regulators, i meant of course the wing mirror motors.

Verify it is not a wiring, power, or switch problem. The motors themselves are not serviceable, only replaceable. In reality with enough patience and persistence anything is repairable but at some point most people would not try. If the motors are bad figure on replacement. Much more common to be another problem though so rule them all out first.
