Howdy y'all, so yeah - having Google Adsense and being a Youtube Partner does pay out nicely each month:

"Who the hell cares"...me, I wanna make $2500 for doing nothing but uploading videos.

I have an adsense too. My account is up to $1.22 and its been 2 months, LOL. I'm always thinking when out-and-about "if I make a video of this will it get hits?". I've noticed pretty much anything with a cat will have millions of views. My only two "monetized" videos are horrible, but are DeLorean related so get hits and made me $1.22. You have to hit a $100 threshold before they'll send you a check. I work at an airport and see all kinds of planes, but airplane videos don't bring hits unless they are crashing.

BigBenb84 on youtube...shameless promotion. Make me a few cents. http://www.youtube.com/bigbenb84

Rowdy, whats your channel?

Wow, how tasteless and tacky to brag on a forum about your income.

That said, youtube's adsense is a subject that my friend and I often discuss, and I'm curious... do you get that amount every month? How many videos do you have uploaded and how many views do they have? Linking your youtube page would answer most of this.

It varies by month and must surpass the $100 minimum payout threshold or it will be carried over until it does. As far as the pay, 50% is from the ads in my youtube videos (http://www.youtube.com/joeypaulgowdy), the other 50% from ads on various (http://www.gowdyautosales.com) websites (http://www.gingersnapsthemovie.com) I made (http://www.lycansmovie.com) and all of which use Google Adsense and Youtube Partnerships. I get paid to use twitter as well. ^_^

I think people still don't like Mr.Gowdy from his DeLoronco or Broncolorean shenanigan from 2008 back on the .com.

I don't like people showing off their paychecks either. You either invite envy or pity to the party. Or a little bit of both.

Being (or thinking) you are successful at what you do is great, but keeping it to yourself is paramount. No one likes a "baller", and no one likes a wannabe "baller". In the end, nothing good comes from showing off the size of your wallet.

Yeah probably true and that would be the FordeLorean (http://broncoii.org/forum/index.php?topic=6266.0).

So grudge holding peeps what is the difference between it and Richs projects? Both seem to "mutilate" the cars (as one of you said in on the old boards) ... yet mine gets more negative attention than Richs shenanigans? Hmm, favoritism much?

Atleast my project only used three salvaged (already destroyed then parted out by many of you here) Deloreans that were headed to the scrap yard. One bare bodytub (from Louisiana), One that was being parted out (from Florida), and one burnt car that on one showed any interest in (from Tennessee).

So technically I saved two project cars vin 4875 (http://dmctalk.org/showthread.php?1344-Vin-4875) and vin 5538 (http://dmctalk.org/showthread.php?234-81-VIN-05538-parts-project-car) from being forever lost... what's with people here and your continous "more righteous than thou" attitude? It continues to give this site and the Delorean community a bad rep.

For what its worth, I see zero difference between what you are doing and what Rich does - both 4x4 projects are a fiberglass body + stainless mounted on a pickup chassis. Rich took his 4x4 a step further than yours by paying a shop to put a high lift kit on his, and in general at the moment his is more finished than yours going by pictures, but I assume you are not finished with your project yet?

Sadly, now a poll may go up for me using a lame "Not" joke.

Mwhahaha, I started working and moved out of my parents (at 15 y/o) to this cabin:

Made a few major investments and sold it a few years later (at 23 y/o) then moved in here:

Sold that after my grandmother passed in 2007 and now (at 30 y/o) occupy her place:

It isn't racism - it's part of history and our national heritage.

Hmm, maybe some pictures could change your view on it?

Its funny how whites and blacks can give different answers to the same question, "What does the confederate flag represent?"

The following comment was posted by a real live black person at www.topix.com

"It represents to me a sign of hatred and a mark of the past. Its ugly head reminds me of the old conferderacy and of a time I would not want to live in It has no place in today's America."
