Noise suppressor on idle speed microswitch

My car has the little suppressor that's mounted to one of the allen screws that holds the air meter halves together. It's on a yellow wire that was originally scotch-locked with a red connector to one of the idle microswitch wires - but I can't remember which wire it went to. Currently it is attached to the black ground wire but I believe it is supposed to be on the black/green wire.

Does it matter which wire it's on? If so, which wire is it supposed to be on, since it's not shown on the wiring diagram?

Thanks Dave, I will correct it this weekend! My wires to the switch are not the original ones and I think they got mixed up at some point. I am going to redo that little section.
