I was driving to a car show today and I started to notice that my clutch has about 1 inch of travel before it starts to engage. I have replaced the master cylinder, slave cylinder, have the stainless steel line. The master has fluid in the reservoir. Had the clutch replaced with in a year. What should I check for? I can drive it but it is kind of annoying to have the 1 inch of travel.

At the moment I'm thinking there might have been some air that finally made it's way to the slave or there is some fluid bypass in the master. How old are the hydraulic components?

Make sure nothing is leaking and try bleeding the clutch hydraulics. If that doesn't do it the clutch will have to come out, there is no adjustment. You can also check the pedal linkage for worn parts like the pins. Worn pins can add a lot of play.
